Shipping & Tax Options
Delivered with Tax & Duty Paid (SAMOS)
We have partnered with SAMOS to offer a "Delivered with Tax & Duty Paid" option in our checkout for EU countries, Canada and Singapore.
This shipping option takes care of all the taxes, import duty and custom clearance fees. The total is calculated at the checkout and charged in full. The rates will vary depending on the recipient location. Rest assured, there will be no unexpected fees when the goods pass through customs.
Delivered with Tax & Duty Unpaid
This is our standard worldwide shipping option. If you select this option, you are liable to pay tax/duty on your order as it enters customs of the destination country.
Countries with a high tax-free/duty-free limit
Some countries have a high tax-free/duty-free limit, such as USA, Australia and New Zealand.
If your order is below $800 USD and destined for USA, you can choose the "Delivered with Tax & Duties Unpaid" option and expect to pay no tax/duty on import.
If your order is below $1000 AUD and destined for Australia, you can choose the "Delivered with Tax & Duties Unpaid" option and expect to pay no tax/duty on import.
If your order is below $1000 NZD and destined for New Zealand, you can choose the "Delivered with Tax & Duties Unpaid" option and expect to pay no tax/duty on import.
UK customers may wish to order in GBP from our fulfilment partner Classic Hand Tools.
Delivery times
Delivery times provided are estimates only and do not include customs and carrier delays. Sometimes packages can get held at customs longer than anticipated which is, unfortunately, out of our control.
You will be provided a tracking code with every shipment. You can use this tracking code to find out where your package is and the date you can expect it to arrive.

7-8 working days: Sweden, Romania, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Denmark, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Malta, Cyprus.
8-9 working days: Estonia, Norway, Portugal, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine Finland, Spain, Greece.
Rest of the World
5-12 working days: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States.
Out of Stock & Special Order Tools
If a tool is out of stock, please email us at enquiries@forge-de-saint-juery.com and we can give you an estimate of how long it might take.
Some tools may be out of stock simply because they are "Special Order". These include left handed tools and some larger rasps.
Special Order tools must be made on request, so please do not hesitate to email us directly.
In case of loss or damage
You must inform us within 28 working days after expected delivery if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
