Half Round / Triangular Riffler rasp for shaping wood

Chose your size according to the scale of work you are working on. The longer the riffler the coarser the grain.

For shaping big sculptural works you need the 10" (250mm) riffler but for delicate work (around eyes and ears, mouths etc.) you need the smaller 6 or 7" rifflers.

    Excellent, Superior, everything we are accustomed to from Auriou

    Just took a class from a former Maloof assistant on building a bench with four Maloof Chair joints on the legs. This requires sculpted curves between leg and top. The Auriou riffler was the perfect tool to refine the curves. No surprise, I also have two Auriou rasps and they stand alone in their ability to evenly and quickly remove wood leaving a uniform surface for further finishing. There is nothing else that comes close to Auriou.

    Otra muestra de la calidad extraordinaria que caracteriza a los productos de Forge de Saint Juery, esta herramienta es una de mis favoritas para mi trabajo diario para elaborar mis piezas de "netsuke"
